When a Mac goes to sleep the shared dir gets unmounted and this causes all kinds of problems because the Mac still thinks it's there and won't let you easily remount.

There are workarounds in that ticket. One should be selected and documentation added to the README so people know what to do when this happens.

This seems to be fixed in the latest version at https://github.com/osxfuse/sshfs/releases. It's not the latest version, that's 3.5 -- available from https://github.com/libfuse/sshfs/releases -- but it's the latest pre-built package I can find. I need to get confirmation from someone else that the newer version also solves the problem for them and then I can improve the installation documentation.
