Feature suggestion: docker output #58

Virtualbox vms are slow and inefficient. I'm already running docker. I believe docker containers are supported as a packer build target.

Probably not worth too much work – but if it's not to hard, a docker image that's roughly equivalent to the vm would be very helpful.

Hi Andy, yes, that was my original intention with this, to have Docker output as well. I started a Docker build when I was using the DCE Ansible roles, but there were things done in those roles that were not compatible with a Docker environment. I haven't looked at the possibility again since switching over to the RHEL roles. It may be easier now. Thanks for opening the ticket. It's something I'd like to see too.
