It's in dataprep.r where this will get resolved. How do you get an ArcGIS Online public layer to be mappable or saved locally as a shapefile?

There was spam that there's a brand new set of Esri R libraries. I'm working at what is currently line 138 in data_prep.r

for now I faked it by turning the service into a shapefile and downloading that.
