When the nuxeo url and authentication info are not set properly, the user gets no notification that anything is wrong except that the file tree fails to load indefinitely. A notification should be flashed to the user in this case, so that they know what's wrong and don't think the plugin is broken (or nuxeo is down, or their internet connection is lost, etc).

On Dec 10, this issue caused one of our testers to have problems setting up the plugin. A reasonable value was entered for the Nuxeo URL, but the plugin was expecting slightly different formatting and it failed with no error message. This issue is now higher priority.
