Search within subfolders #6

The search function appears to be case sensitive. Would it be possible to make it case insensitive? Or, barring that, add instructions above the field stating that the search is case sensitive.

I am having trouble reproducing this bug; the nuxeo api fulltext search engine should be case insensitive by default. Searching for "hattori" under "UCSC" returns an item containing the text "Kathy Hattori" which does not contain any instances of the lower case version. Could you let me know which search term was failing to return case insensitive results? It could be an unrelated problem.

Scratch that last comment - I can't reproduce what I found when I tested it with Rachel. Must have just been a glitch!

Hmm...I'm renaming this issue to be about parent folders and subfolders, but I'm still having trouble reproducing it. I know that clicking on a parent folder fails to return the documents from subfolders (working on it), but searching in a parent folder seems to return results from all of its subfolders.
