• [ ] Representative image selected
• [ ] Files relocated to dams_ingest
• [ ] Collection has been successfully ingested
• [ ] Images display properly
• [ ] Metadata displays properly
• [ ] Collection has been published and is available to users on DAMS homepage

This collection is currently split on to two spreadsheets. Once file renaming is work on the second spreadsheet is complete, the spreadsheet will be joined and ingest will move forward.

Question: In their original form, as donated by Thaler, files are JPEG format. Will they need to be converted to TIFF before ingesting to DAMS? My recommendation from a digital preservation standpoint, is to convert them to TIFF and then save both TIFF and JPEG formats in a digital preservation repository so we have the FADGI-recommended version and the original (authentic) version donated by the creator.

I checked; JPG originals still need to be converted to TIFFs

Decision: Hold off on moving this collection forward. Conversion of files to TIFFs would be a lot of work; will wait until we know what direction we'll be going with a future DAMS.

Metadata is ready to go, save for updating filenames. Files themselves need renaming and conversion.
