MVP: DAMS Re-architecture #585

Descriptive summary

DAMS team has determined that we need to do an MVP assessment of the DAMS' supporting infrastructure: How much disk space do we currently have? How much memory do we have versus how much memory do we need? Etc. This ticket asks that some brief report be prepared detailing the current status of this infrastructure as well as recommendations for how it might be improved or re-architected.

High Level we need to hire a Sys Admin, bring them up to speed with our ITS environment as well as the Library specific IT components. Then we can:

1: Assess current environment

  1. Gather requirements!
  2. Determine Roadmap
  3. Implement to Plan

At this point we are in the hiring process so will probably be Oct 2023 for a completion timeframe for Plan.
