I was able to get to the edit screens by choosing "my works" and then "works shared with me". I don't think the "works shared with me" link was there initially, so I think you must have been successful on your end.
One problem is that the text on the drop-down menus for the works and collections is light grey and I initially thought they were unavailable.

I'm curious about how this worked from your perspective. The interface has functions for sharing works with other users and groups, along with either view or edit privileges. I am having some issues getting this interface to work properly for nested works, though it seems pretty close. I am curious about what your experience was with this; did you have the ability to edit the items all along, and just needed to find the right buttons / links? Or did you gain access at some point in the last hour or two because of something I did?

Hi Ned,
On the home page, it lists "no resource specified" under the featured works. I'm assuming I could enter some kind of description in the work or course record to make that available. Could you make me a manager or editor on the existing works and courses?
Thanks, Sue
