Hi, sorry for missing this. I believe this policy is still effective this year and we'll distribute a survey before the quarter ends. For all future questions, please post under this issue: https://github.com/UChicago-Computational-Content-Analysis/Readings-Responses-2024-Winter/issues/59
There's a paragraph on the syllabus regarding the grading policy: "We adopt a flexible policy with respect to taking a Pass/Fail vs. obtaining a valued grade (A-F) following this rule: You give me a grade below which you would prefer a Pass (if you Pass) than that grade. For example, if you report A, then if you earn an A- or lower, you get a Pass, otherwise an A. If you report a B, then if you earn a B- or lower, you get a pass, etc."
I just wanna confirm this is still effective this year. If so, where can we give that borderline grade to the instructor or the TAs?
Any response would be highly appreciated : )
