Python Scripting Tutorial #8

While most of the content here is presented through Jupyter notebooks, it may be helpful to also include information on how to read, write, and run more traditional python programs.

Topics could include:

How to use a text editor to view .py files.
How to execute .py files from a text editor, IDE, or the command line.
How to write your own modules.
How to document python code using comments (as opposed to Markdown cells in notebooks)
