Staging v1.7 #59

This PR stages the v1.7 release. The prior PR (#58, v1.6.1) was not distributed to package managers because I ran into issues with the deprecated server components. This PR goes ahead and removes them.

Change log for v1.7:

Support for PyTables 3.7+
Tested against Python 3.9 and 3.10
Removes server module
