This would be an excellent thing for someone to apply for a travel grant to attend. We'll have a fall round with decisions by 10/3. Registration is a bit steep - $395 w/ edu discount. Perhaps the board would be willing to make a special award to cover the registration of anyone presenting a poster.

I can't tell if Google Docs is messing with me. I added 2 comments, does anyone see those (when I reopen the doc I don't see them). Anyway, comments were:

• maybe add how many instructors we trained and add Matt's statistic on how a larger percentage of our instructors go on to be active instructors
• My 2 cents on R-Ladies: we formed thanks to the UF Carpentries Club. Punam and I both had the idea to start a chapter, but only when we met at through the Club did we actually make it happen. Maybe not info for the abstract, but you could use it in the poster

@gklarenberg I don't see your comments either. I'll add number of instructors, good suggestion! I might leave out the active instructors comment, as I'm trying not too focus too much on The Carpentries stuff in case whoever reads this isn't as familiar with that organization.
