Will need to add figures/images later, otherwise looks good!
I added a map and some photos of the areas. Once this page is live, we can talk with Hugh about adding more figures or cross-sections.
@marshallrobinson
Agreed, this page needs a bit of love still in the figure/image department. I think the middle section of the page (and the white-space) is throwing me off visually.
I went to other "3rd level pages" (Utah Faults specifically) to see what it they look like, and I like that they have more graphic-centric elements/icons. Maybe it would help to put the images on the left?
All of the text looks good though.
I made the images larger and moved them to the left side. Once this is live, we can add more stuff from groundwater like buttons to case studies in each area. For now, I think we're okay on this page.
@mikehylland
Under Colorado Plateau, first paragraph: In the second sentence, change "range" to "ranges" ("...the age of which ranges from...").
Under Basin and Range, second paragraph: The first sentence refers to "late Cenozoic basin fill," but then gives the age range of 66 Ma to present (66 Ma is the start of the Cenozoic -- i.e., early Cenozoic). Shouldn't the max. age of basin fill be something in the Miocene (i.e., onset of B&R extension ~17 Ma)? Please follow up with the original author of this section to get a corrected basin fill max. age.
Under Basin and Range, photo caption: Change "West Desert" to "west desert" (i.e., informal name).
Under Central Mountains, first paragraph: In the second sentence, wording should be "mainly of" (two instances). First instance should read, "...composed mainly of pre-Cenozoic..." (change "of mainly" to "mainly of"). Second instance should read, "...composed mainly of Precambrian..." (delete the first "of").
Under Central Mountains, second paragraph: Capitalize "quaternary," and add "-age" (...Quaternary-age valley fill...). In the second sentence, suggest changing "units" to "rocks" (...present in sedimentary rocks...).
Everything else looks great!
All comments addressed besides comment 2. Sent to Hugh for clarification.
Done!
very technical descriptions. I've fixed them up a little bit but I think we need:
