For future reference (aka if MVB asks), I did not include the following broken external links because I couldn't find the current link or the org or webpages have been discontinued.

Shale is a fine-grained sedimentary rock composed of mud containing clay and silt-sized particles of other minerals.

Shale is a fine-grained sedimentary rock composed of a mud rich in clay- and silt-sized particles of other minerals.

DONE -fixed wording

Mackenzie-Cope commented 2 years ago

MDH Comments: Intro paragraph, first sentence: Not sure about the “particles of other minerals” at the end of the sentence, as no other minerals besides these have been mentioned (i.e., other than what?). Consider something like, “clay- and silt-sized sediment grains.”

Nice photo of the oil shale sample, but something for scale would be helpful.

Again, great “presentation” of the Presentations, Posters, etc. (all the needed info for reference citations appears to be provided).

Addressed- Intro paragraph, first sentence: Not sure about the “particles of other minerals” at the end of the sentence, as no other minerals besides these have been mentioned (i.e., other than what?). Consider something like, “clay- and silt-sized sediment grains.”

Oil shale example with scale? - Nice photo of the oil shale sample, but something for scale would be helpful.

Again, great “presentation” of the Presentations, Posters, etc. (all the needed info for reference citations appears to be provided).
