Add batch photo download feature #13

It would be nice to be able to download photos in batches, seems you can currently only download/save one photo at a time

Don't worry about assigning people to the issues. We get email notifications when you create a new issue. I'll make assignments to different folks when I add the issue to a specific project. We should create some "milestones" for this project and group different issues into them so we know which issues are the highest priorities. How would you rank this issue?

I agree it would be a nice feature to be able to download photos in batches. We haven't made an app that offers this kind of functionality quite yet so it would take some research and possibly some back-end server configuration (which requires DTS) as this type of functionality normally requires more than just scripting on Jay's end of things. Doesn't mean it's not impossible, and it would be a good skill-set regardless. Only wanted to inform you of what is needed to accomplish this.

batch photo download is lower priority than just getting the photos online, in the correct orientation, and saved at a resolution ideal for viewing with slower connections

I agree it's most important getting photos up in the first place, but I think the batch download would still be a high priority.

while Jay and Martha figure out how to do batch downloads, maybe in the meantime we can put a statement in the About section indicating that if someone wants a batch download of photos to contact Peter (and Peter can give access to a Google folder of the photos).
