about half the photos are horizontal and half are vertical, needs to be consistent

Peter needs to join Github so he can be assigned to this task and provide input. If he needs an introduction to how to use github, I can do that if necessary. Code cannot fix the problem unfortunately.

The first image is from the CrescentState21-22 directory on the web server. Crescent State 22-21 web photos You can see that each _wet.jpg file does not show as rotated. The original DRY and WET JPG files are generally orientated horizontally and require a right-hand rotation. I select all the JPG files and rotate them in the same batch and then upload the JPG files to the web server. I don't have an image to those since I upload them to the G drive and delete them from my computer. You can see that the _wet.jpg files are still horizontal.

I looked at the same directory on my G drive and the photographs are generally randomly oriented, some show the original orientation and others the rotated orientation. Crescent State 22-21 G drive photos

Please review my comments for the Main Canyon 7-23 core phtographs. We have a bigger problem then just the picture orientation. The orientation is random and based on how different software packages read the image metadata.

The web photos have again been rotated to vertical on the web server.

seems to be fixed now

PNatCoreCenter commented 4 years ago

The point is that they were all rotated vertically when loaded to the web server and some are still showing up as not rotated.
