Make menu visible on start up #7

The current background is very dark and obscures some of the info, is it possible to lighten it up and make the counties more visible? Likewise could we add a few major roads and towns to help people orient themselves as they search?

Also is it possible to have the map load with the layers tab showing, so people don't have to look around to find it?

What about having an option to several different backgrounds (e.g., photo, topo, map, landownership, etc.), similar to other web maps (see DOGM's well database map, or SITLA's online map).

They've actually got that, I just didn't see it. There are several basemaps to choose from so this is a non-issue. Land ownership is likely better as a layer so it's query-able.

If possible to load with the Legend (not layers - sorry) showing I do find that helpful, as with the Min Resc map.

Ha, i didn't even know that menu was there! my brain is not trained to look for the three lines...

I agree, it would be nice to have this menu load upon opening the app.
