NWI published an update to the wetland and riparian data for Utah back in May. I'd like to completely replace the old wetland/riparian spatial data with the new layers. You can find the new layers here: M:\Shared drives\UGS_Wetlands\GIS\NWI\UtahWetlandsMap.gdb.

There are updates for the following layers: i. UT_Wetlands ii. UT_Wetlands_Metadata iii. UT_Wetlands_nonRiverine iv. UT_Wetlands_Riverine v. UT_Riparian_Metadata vi. UT_Riparian

Is this grant-funded? If so, should I use the UW19 charge code?

wetlandsDiane commented 3 years ago

Please use UW21, actually. Thanks!

For reference (grant hours):

According to the table found here (https://github.com/UGS-GIO/wetlands/discussions/19), Martha and Jay have 32 hours to bill this FY to UW21 for updating NWI riparian/wetland data. This task is done 2x/year. Please correct me @wetlandsDiane if this is incorrect. Thanks

wetlandsDiane commented 3 years ago

Yes, that is correct. Updating the NWI riparian/wetland data will fall under UW21. I will try to put in the appropriate grant in future request so you guys don't have to refer back to the table all the time.

Please only bill the actual hours it takes for the task; the grant is for 3.5 years so we definitely don't need to spend out all the funds this fiscal year.

thanks

@wetlandsDiane The new data has been published. Please check the data when you have time.

Looks good! I think this issue is ready to be closed if no one else needs to review it first.

Thanks @wetlandsDiane
