Meeting 8/30/22 Martha J notes

The plan is: Add auto update date field to Access database Create an Arcgis web database on the UGS portal web server using the Access database and Don's database (merge the two) Add URL fields to the web database that have links to open a locality form and any supplemental information Create an interface for editing the web database

Access database: The location of a copy of the Access database is at: "G:\Shared drives\UGS_Paleo\Paleo Database\ULDS_v2.9.3.accdb" (there is a newer version on Martha H's computer)

Access database notes in more detail: Martha J asked if we should add a date modified field to the Access database so that we can track updates. This is a YES - I will add auto-update date field to Martha H's main access database. Her database is currently on her home computer but she is going to reach out to Marshall and get Google Drive on her home computer. Once she does that, she will start using Google Drive as the main database location. Once she is ready to use Google Drive, I will add the record_update field (date tracking of last edit/date data was added).

ArcGIS web database in more detail: Martha J will merge the Access database with Don's database. She will also add URL fields to the web database. Martha J. will meet with Ben and show him how to create URL's for each locality so that we can have live links to the data. Once this is done, Martha J. will create an interface for editing data

Powerpoint slides: Stefan asked for a couple of powerpoint slides that summarize the locality database. Martha J. will convert the access database data to ArcGIS and show Ben how to run statistics on the data.

Geologic Map: Martha could use a copy of the Notch Peak map in her GIS. Stefan thinks there may be a hard copy of the map in Mapping.
