Actually I discovered that this frames disappears if I set 'Default background'
and
apply it and then select 'Transparent' and apply it, but this must be done on
each
winamp startup.

I also have started getting this problem. Only noticed it when I upgraded to
1.12
Strangely it doesn't happen every time I open Winamp.
I have no idea why it only appears sometimes.
It looks to me like the outside border of the "default background", but i'm not
sure.

Oh god now I feel like an idiot. I should of read the whole post before I
replied.
I ran Winamp with administrative rights and the problem was automagically fixed.

Glad it fixed, but running Winamp with admin right can cause other problems if
you
have UAC enabled ;)
