Plugin conflict with iZotope Ozone #287

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
With Winamp 5.572, win7shell 1.13, ozonemp 1.0, under Windows 7 x64 with
UAC off.

Have win7shell and ozone for winamp both installed. Open the ozone window.
The widget controls are still functional but the main "grid" display does
not work. The widgets that should cause something to show on the grid
appear to do nothing. Remove win7shell and the plugin UI works as expected.

Erm... did it work before 1.13?

I tested and it was broken with 1.12 as well. I have not tried testing versions
earlier than 1.12.

Hm, I'm using the 5.58 beta Winamp and the 1.14 v5 beta plug-in.
Try this plug-in and see if it changes anything for you:

http://win7shell.googlecode.com/files/gen_win7shell5.7z

(Just copy the .dll in the Winamp/Plugins folder)

No luck yet, though I am still using 5.572. Didn't see much info about a 5.58
beta on
the net.

i've just tried the two out & even with using the different skins provided with
Winamp (which did cause some issues with Izotrope a few years back) i'm not
able to
reproduce the issue either. The only difference i can think off is that i've
got UAC
still enabled though i can't see how that'd have any effect in this instance.

Maybe you can upload a copy of your settings file for this plug-in incase it's a
conflict with the settings with it though i'm a bit stumped as i cannot see what
would be causing such an issue.

Is this issue still persisting?

Tested with v1.14 Test 6 and Winamp 5.61, the problem still exists - same
behavior as previously reported.
