Stuck in “loading DICOM” process #1

I installed MATLAB Runtime R2016b (9.1) from the official website in win10, successfully compiled the software, and set up the directory structure according to the readme. But when I press the "load study" button, the “load DICOM” window pops out, and the progress bar ran to the half position, after which I got stuck and no longer moved forward.

Dear FrontierSetter, I tested it with our DICOM data and it is working, but the DICOM loading is kind of slow. The loading bar is always showing 50% for the entire loading process which could suggest the loading is stuck. I would recommend to only have one cine scan (which can have multiple series folders) and no other series in each subject folder to avoid loading unnecessary DICOM files. Kind regards, Jan.
