Access to add Bulgarian version in dos and donts #105

Hello, congratulations for the work and everything you do! We translated the dos-donts file in bulgarian, but we need access to upload the file. I've attached the file for review: accessibility-posters-set-full-23-07-web.pdf

Is there anything else we need to do to upload the file and spread it to reach more people?

Hi Thank you @ntwebsites for sending the Bulgarian version of the Do's and Don't posters. I'm afraid we're unable to upload the file as it currently is.

If you could clone the site and then add a page with the files, and then send a pull request once you have done this we should then be able to add it to the repository.

Thank you for your answer! Since I don't understand exactly what I need to do, but I want to upload the file to reach more people, can you explain a little more in detail!

From https://github.com/UKHomeOffice/posters there is button labelled „Fork“ in the upper-right corner. Hit that one and fork to your user. This will generate a copy for you to modify.

In the list of files further down there is a button to clone the repo (green one IIRC - I'm on phone right now). Hitting that one will download the copy to your computer using a software called git. If you don't have one, there could be an option to do it within the browser, but I don't have experience with it.

I would browse into the directory where you want to add the file. I suppose, GitHub would show you a button to add a file there. Upload your PDF there and a summary of your changes (called a „commit message“).

Then GitHub should ask you (with a banner normally), whether you want to integrate your changes with this repo (called „opening a Pull Request“ or PR, for short).

This way, someone from UK Home Office will be notified to review it.
