Feature request, do not rename files on upload #8

Coursework currently renames files, giving them a random string of text and numbers, would it be possible to add the option to not do this and retain the original filename?

Hi Aaranaw, At the moment this is not a part of the plans. The reason the files names are changed is to support anonymity across all submissions. These names are consisted of user/group id and coursework id to ensure their names are unique. This is also helpful in uploading the bulk feedback as files must have these names in order to be processed.
