The main reason for wanting to learn R is that I've seen so many infographics and maps like choropleths that are very visually pleasant and attractive for any kind of user like this one. While using other programming languages like python requires to practically do everything manually using matplotlib (or at least I've never found any package so "ready to go" to do this kind of plots)
I also found this amazing looking visualization that uses choropleths and a scatter plot to get good insights about the struggle to get enough nurses for the current high demand in US and how rising salaries doesn't to be an effective solution

In general I saw a lot of very attractive visualizations but these took really caught my attention and I want to learn how to do them by myself.
