Registration, waitlist turnover. #10

@celticelk, What can you tell me about notifications that the learners will receive if/when they get off the waitlist? I don't want empty seats at the workshop if we can help it.

My email bounced for one registered learner. Any ideas about how to get the email to her?

If someone notifies the system that they are withdrawing from the class, the next person on the waitlist automatically gets a notification that they're now enrolled. Since you can see all of the emails for everyone on both lists, you can of course email the waitlisters and encourage them to show up anyway, if you choose. The system uses the official emails attached to the registrant's uniqname, so I'm not sure what to tell you about dealing with a bounce. Maybe you could look her up in MCommunity and see if she has alternate email addresses listed?

Well, we haven't really had any turnover: only two fewer people on the waitlist now, and I can't tell if that's from registered or waitlisted folks dropping.

I'm still convinced that not everyone is going to show up tomorrow morning, but I guess we'll find out.
