Hack & Help Sessions #12

What

Hack & Help sessions are open to everyone in the UMD community who is looking for a friendly, informal environment to work on R projects, share knowledge, and ask questions. All skill levels are welcome. Bring your laptop and move your R skills forward this fall!

When

Fridays 12-2pm

We try to hold a session every Friday, but occasional cancellations are inevitable. Cancellations will be posted on our site and sent to our mailing list.

Is this group still meeting? Or is there anyone I can contact for help with R? any advice would be very helpful, thanks!

Hi,

The Hack & Help sessions are not running at the moment, so you'll have to explore alternative ways to get help. Here are a couple of options:

  1. Check if your problem has been discussed and solved on Stack Overflow. If not, you can post a question and tag it with r: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/r. This method has the best chance of getting a variety of suggestions. If your problem is about statistical methodology, try the Cross Validated stack exchange site instead.
  2. There's a search engine for R docs and resources at: http://www.rseek.org. It may be more efficient than a regular Google search.
