Dark mode was added in 0f60620534a11606a8f2723ccfec69a3ba9e3ccf. However, there are still some bugs to be refined here---contrast issues with light text, readability issues on the lefthand side, etc. We could probably consider adding a custom theme, rather than the cyborg prebuilt theme we started with.

One site that allows us to rather easily customize and preview the colors is https://bootstrap.build/app.
This could also include a toggle to override the color preference, rather than just relying on the browser's defaults.
