SUEWS FcPhoto output in summer close to 0 #290

Hello together,

Describe the bug

I have run the SUEWS/CO2 module for 2 areas of interest in Berlin. The Fc output seems reasonable to me, except that the FcPhoto values in summer (May to September) become close to 0 in both areas at comparable times.

I can't figure out what exactly is causing the problem. I checked the metereological inputs (one per AOI) and also the Kdown/Albedo/QF/T2 from SUEWS_Output. Also T1to30/q_1to30 from the RSL_Outputs seemed fine to me and I could really tell a difference between days with reasonable FcPhoto and days with FcPhoto close to 0.

One thing I didnt understand is the LAI-Value in the SUEWS_Output. I checked LAI ever/decid/grass from Daily State file which seemed fine to me but in the SUEWS_Output the LAI value did not reach my max LAI_Values, thought the value here is maybe somekind of weighed by the proportion of veg as they vary from grid to grid but not sure how to understand this value.

Expected behavior

I was expecting a more consistent FcPhoto in the summer which should be higher than in the other seasons.

Version and platform (please complete the following information): supy: 2022.4.7 supy_driver: 2021a5 OS: Windows 10 Pro

Additional context I run SUEWS in monthly packages (1-2;3-4;5;6-7;8-9;10-11;12) to modify TRates, Popdens, Profiles and also changing the Meteo file. Then Iinitialise the model with the modified df_state.csv. I actually thought that the low FcPhoto values might correspond to these packets, but I can't see any such pattern there. So I think the problem must come from somewhere else.

Hi, small update, I found out that maybe the SMD/drought is causing this and FcPhoto seems to be simulated only shortly after a rain event. I have plotted SMD, rain and FcPhoto from the SUEWS output for 2 summer months: Image Can anyone tell me if this is intentional or if there is another problem?
