[Low] Accessibility for those with impairments (visual) #191

Closed sulemandiwan closed 9 years ago

sulemandiwan commented 9 years ago

We will want to do a code review and update things to allow things to be friendly for things like screen readers of different types like brail or audio.

Mainly I think this will entail use of alt, aria and other tags that facilitate that.

@trdillah I just put this here as a placeholder thought we haven't talked about this yet.

@sulemandiwan This should be taken care of soon enough.

Please avoid adding features to the issue list on Github and use mingle instead because this is a completely new thing.

I would recommend closing this issue and adding to mingle.

Thanks.

This is unclear.

For example I have #190 and #189 assigned to me.

Should they be in mingle or in github? What should be in github and what in mingle? Should only bugs be in github?

I think there is some blurring of lines so unless we can be precise about when something is an issue in github vs mingle entry this will probably continue to happen.

Hi Suleman,

I don't know about #190 but #189 should be assigned to you and in github.

Nishan is stating that any new issue outside of our initial MVP (e.g., building in functionality for visual impairments) should be added to Mingle. If there is a defect or an enhancement about an existing feature, then we should add it to github. Does this make sense?
