Related to #30. This might also include the fact that one dataset from Sandia was used to optimize (?) the Sheldahl and Klimas static foil data for VAWTs. @wosnik probably understood this better than I did when we read it in Sheldahl and Klimas (1981).
Antheame et al. (2008) -- Sheldahl et al. (1977) data from 5 m Darrieus turbine with NACA 0012 blades. 0.08 or so c/R ratio.
Amet et al. (2009) -- 3 datasets, from which forces were taken by Laneville and Vitecoq (1986), for a 2-straight-bladed turbine at $Re_c = 3.8 \times 10^4$.
Joo et al. (2015) -- Use Howell et al. (2010) data, which had c/R = 0.33.
Liu et al. (1992) -- Used Sandia 34 m data but don't cite anything.
Murray and Barone (2011) -- Used Sandia 34 m (Ashwill (1992)) and VAWT 850 (Mays et al. (1990)), which has a "10% solidity." c/R was only 0.05 though.
Roh and Kang (2013) -- Sandia 2 m NACA 0012 Darrieus tests in Blackwell et al. (1976), which all have c/R < 0.1.
Ponta and Jacovis (2001) use the Strickland (1981) tow tank data, which was for c/R = 0.15. That is a common dataset.
Scheurich et al. (2011) -- Strickland (1981) blade force data.
Scheurich and Brown (2011) -- Penna (2008) helical data from an NRC report that I can't find. Turbine is a Quiet Revolution QR5, which looks to be fairly low solidity.
Paraschivoiu (1988) -- Sandia 17 m Darrieus data from Worstell (1978).
Orlandi et al. (2015) -- Sandia 17 m and Mertens (2002) H-Darrieus in skew.
