Dear Luis, Interesting project you got here! just a few comments:

  1. Title and Description: clear and informative description of the project! However it would be helpful to mention briefly what platform are you going to use to achieve your goal. eg R,Python etc. Also it would be helpful if you explain what the number "160101" means.
  2. Field of research: I think this is more of a general thing. In your case, you may write "archaeology"
  3. Project contributors: Great! All sufficient details are there, however perhaps you could suggest ORCID to your supervisor.
  4. Related policies: Perhaps you could indicate that you project will adhere to the UOA's Researcher Code of Conduct and provide this link: https://www.auckland.ac.nz/en/about/the-university/how-university-works/policy-and-administration/research/conduct/code-of-conduct-policy.html
  5. Ethics and privacy: You have mentioned that (Consent for publishing data and preservation of obsidian objects was given independently to each investigation between 2010- 2016), it would be helpful to also mention names/types and how many investigations were done between 2010-2016.
  6. Data collection/ creation: I see this is still to be completed. However note that the data (format) might be something like (.csv, .xlsx, .doc etc) so check the extension of your data file. You might also try to give brief description of how your row data looks like. for example, tables, values etc. You could also indicate how many data files you got.
  7. File management: regarding data organization, you might want to mention where your data will be stored (laptop, PC etc..). Also it would be helpful to mention any online address where the data might be stored (e.g. Github account).
  8. Storage locations: E.g. laptop and Github? and would you consider a backup in case you lose your data?

Overall, I think you have an understanding of the goal of your project. Just a few more gaps to fill as you progress through the course.

Keep up the good work :)

Ahmed
