API should return proper error messages #16

If a problem occurs, the API should return an actually helpful error message if possible. The error message should also be JSON encoded to make handling results easier. Even if it's just a JSON string.

Example: Handle if an IP is not set in Proteus and return an error message like:

Status: 404
Body: "IP address 1.2.3.4 is not configured in Proteus"
