0.3: Linux wayland blenderplayer crash at start with USE_EVENT_BACKGROUND_THREAD #1790

I did not even know that blenderplayer was running with wayland on my machine whereas normal blender.exe seems to run with X11. Anyway, I've a crash at blenderplayer start related to USE_EVENT_BACKGROUND_THREAD

Maybe related to one of these commits:
