Moving this to milestone post release.

Alternative design of footer would be nice to have but it's not essential so we build it after the official launch of the site.

remember the design @kaiwood

Ah, sticky footer. Well, it was sticky, at least before the last design change. We really have to talk to our QA department, those kind of regressions should not slip through!
