this is ZEBRA / ZPL related (ref. ticket subject) therefore it might be forwarded to whom manages this API part

Hi, is this a technical enhancement or a detrimental issue for you? We have many customers who currently use ZPL that have not reported this.

its a FIX ; in this case the ZPL parser is "confused" but with the following ^XZ (ignores this) and finishes
