The IPP is a Web portal for biologists to interact with High Performance Compute (HPC) systems. Designed and funded by the IMB Microscopy Facility & the Research Computing Centre (RCC)
As a quick and dirty, could we have a hyperlink on the iterations tab of deconvolution page to open a new tab to : https://www.fpbase.org/spectra/
Ideally there would be a Fluorophore text field in front of emission wavelength that is autofilled by the metadata scraper, but if it's empty allows users to search for the fluorophore they're using to retrieve the emission wavelength from fpbase.org
ie: if the metadata scraper isn't implemented yet, or it's unable to read either the fluorophore or emission wavelength from the metadata, then the user searchers for say: GFP and a list of fluorophores that contain GFP appear (this may be 1 or up to 10 or so variants of GFP, such as avGFP, dfGFP, eGFP etc. the user would select their fluorophore and the emission wavelength would be populated in the emission wavelength field
hyper link for emissions data lookup above iterations field
get metadata working as first step
next step could be using fpbase has rest api, eg. provide flourfor name to get peak wavelength
