Description

This Feature is a continuation of #109. Our team will work on story writing, designing, user testing and implementing the epilogue, intermediate scenes prior to nights and gameplay tutorials. The implementation will be quite similar to current prologue screenplay. Although, more options may be explored for more immersive experience, this may include animations or audio. This feature is especially crucial to the game as it emotionally invest the player into the game.

SubFeature/component

Epilogue: Epilogue may vary depending on the end scenario. -

  1. LOSE: Crystal is destroyed and we lose. 2. LOSE: Main char dies and we lose.
  2. WIN: Player survives all night and defeats the boss enemy.

Wether the death of main char is an end condition or not. That is, if he will be respawned or the game will end will be user tested before implementation. It will provide closure to the player and should communicate to the player a conclusive end to the storyline.

Night fall scenes: The "before nights screens" will further direct and prepare the player for the combat for the following night.

Boss night scenes: Quite similar to the other night fall scenes but would be more dramatic

Tutorial pop-ups: The tutorial pop ups will serve to help the user along as they experience the game.

Hi guys there's an incoming modification made to the MainGameTutorials. The change allows us to hide the objectives when an achievement popup needs to be displayed. The objectives are then shown again after the popup has timeout. Checkout #288 to see the relevant changes. Hopefully there's no merge conflict. This was a suggestion made by @4vir4l.
