7 months ago I can reproduce this issue with the RS3 client on a Steam Deck. But, I'm also getting a similar issue when trying to start HDOS:

... 3 moreRuneLite works fine under software rendering, but it's not possible to run the game with the GPU. No errors, but the GPU and 117HD plugins cannot be enabled.
@MushyMarks, can you confirm if HDOS has that same error when launching? If so, this issue could be renamed to "GPU inaccessible in Flatpak," or something.
Very interesting that this happens on very different hardware, although in both of our cases the GPU is AMD, which doesn't have a Flatpak driver like Nvidia does (at least, I couldn't find one, and there isn't one listed in this repo's instructions).

Everything was working flawlessly up until today when i decided to update flatpaks... Launcher/ runelite works as expected but when i try to launch rs3 client i get an error message...
