Hey @XUKEREN I will assign you to this issue to discuss the markdown slides. I'll let you know when to start contributing as I will set up the folder system for this year's version of the Bootcamp 😄 .

@XUKEREN Really fantastic slides!! My only suggestion would be to add a few comments on cache-ing (e.g. https://bookdown.org/yihui/rmarkdown-cookbook/cache.html), as that can help save a lot of time. Not necessary though -- lots of very useful content here. Also I tried to make one suggestion which is to add the quick tutorial in the last slide of links:

R Markdown 10-minute tutorial [link] but the git message I got was permission denied. @gvegayon do you know if I have permission to collaborate on the master branch? Also strangely after that commit I am not able to access the day 3 folder with slides locally, not sure whether this could also be a permission issue? Still getting a hang of github here...

I will be there on Thursday to help answer / field questions during the Q&A.

You do have write permission here, @AbigailHorn. Perhaps you were trying to write to @XUKEREN's forked repo?
