Hey @malcolmbarrett, I think we should be using Zenodo to get a DOI number for this. what do you think? In order to do so, we should create a release to start using it. I know that we would like to polish things a little bit, but I'm OK with how things are right now for a first release (so that we can use the fancy zenodo doi badge!). What do you think?

Hm, an interesting thought! I'd never thought about something like that for a workshop, but I do see a few listed. What do you think the benefits are for something like this vs. its application in software etc? I haven't used it even for those things!

Besides getting a fancy DOI badge? People can cite this in the future, and Zenodo has the guarantee that they keep a copy of each release of the repo for at least 20 years (which is the time CERN has guaranteed funding)... any ways... it won't hurt!

A badge is always a good enough reason :sunglasses:

Sounds good; let's pursue later.
