Automated Water Supply Model (AWSM) was developed at the USDA Agricultural Research Service. AWSM was designed to streamline the workflow used to forecast the water supply of multiple water basins.
When running the model type smrf_ipysnobal only the ipysnobal variables are written. This was by design initially but we should look into writing out the SMRF variables if it's possible. Else the AWSM recipe needs to be changed to set the SMRF variables to None instead of the defaults.
