plant database api #46

It would be amazing if the plant database had a RESTful API like ITIS! (http://www.itis.gov/ws_searchApiDescription.html)

for example would like to query Drosera filiformis Raf. threadleaf sundew http://plants.usda.gov/core/profile?symbol=DRFI
