New Food Data Central Release #78

An updated Food Data Central API is now available which includes addition of a GET method for the search endpoint. See documentation for further details.

Also included in the release:

12% increase in the number of Foundation Foods, representing approximately 300 samples and 10,000 analyses
Updated Foundation Foods Documentation
Nearly 20% increase in the number of items in Branded Foods
Documented updates on more than half the items in Branded Foods

I only get "totalHits":294237 food items from the branded foods database using a search for *. I've been getting that number since early December. It doesn't seem to increase in value.

@SteveCEms The 294K count is correct as of the last update completed on 12/19/2019. Prior to that , the count was around 260K I believe.
