I'm not sure if this is possible. I believe it is outside of the scope of the metadata editor and not covered in the documentation. However, we may have access to those resources to overwrite them. I will look into it.

No idea how feasible this is, but Ana accurately pointed out that on the metadata editing page, a big red X is a button that deletes a section, while a big red exclamation point at the top indicates a validation error. But in the page list, a green checkbox indicates a page with no validation errors and a red X indicates a validation error.
