Hello, how to add the'Setting' option of the PRV valve in EPANET2.2? Should it be set to the pre-valve pressure or the post-valve pressure?

PRVs limit the pressure at a point in the pipe network. EPANET computes in which of three different states a PRV can be in:

  1. Partially opened (i.e., active) to achieve its pressure setting on its downstream side when the upstream pressure is above the setting
  2. Fully open if the upstream pressure is below the setting
  3. Closed if the pressure on the downstream side exceeds that on the upstream side (i.e., reverse flow is not allowed)

Setting is for the pressure on the downstream side of the valve.
