I am still discussing this question with our collaborators.
The file in question contains data from 2009. Jade requested a more complete copy of the 2009 data from the contractor. Jade e-mailed us the file and it contains both cell count and biovolume data, but only from BRR (BRR wasn't included in the file referenced in this issue). My suspicion is that we do not have a copy of this or similar files for the 2009 sampling. If not, I will ask Jade to request a copy of all 2009 data files from the contractor. Before I do that, however, I would like to confirm that we don't already have this file. Is there a way that you could quickly compare the contents of the new file to the files we already have? If there is no match, I'll proceed with Jade.
I would like to maintain momentum on this so we don't lose Jade's attention. Have you had a chance to consider the suggestion above?
Hi Jake,
I haven't seen these records appear elsewhere yet, but I a will check the compiled data by id. I will follow up later today.
Thanks,
Matt

I don't see any information about the volumes elsewhere. They are referenced in FY13 Lab Analysis Details.xlsx, but volume is not.
Jade retrieved all 2009 phytoplankton data with cell counts and biovolumes from the contractor.
In this file, on sheets IN Bio and KY Bio, only counts are listed without any associated volumes. Is this useful and how should they be interpreted?
