EMF proxy error #144

Christine reported the following error on Friday, January 5, 2024 10:44 AM

The EMF “proxy error” that I mentioned before the holidays just happened again. Like the other time, it happened when working with a relatively large number of records - in this case, when correcting the SCC for FINN ag fires in Mexico, which was for 1.2M records:

When this happens, the find/replace or delete actually does go through, but the dataset editor doesn’t show it. If I close the dataset and then re-open it, then I see the update.

Note from Alison:

Christine has noticed this error when there is a slow operation related to the data editor / viewer – like a large delete or find/replace. It seems like something is timing out. The good news is that the operation actually completes, just this error crops up.

Timeout was increased in the Apache (proxy server) configuration. No reports of the issue since then.
