Honghuai Ke and I (Xingting Peng) are planning to implement the cut command:
The -c flag: This will allow for the extraction of a specified range of characters from each line in a text file.
The -f flag: This will enable the selection of specified fields from each line in a text file, using a defined delimiter, such as a comma or a tab.
