John was indicating today that there are inconsistencies in the XMLs and filenames regarding upper/lower case usage. We should add to our scripts to test and fix these. John currently has a list of the current issues but a script to run this would be good in the current xml cleanup script.

So the main problem is that Linux is case sensitive and Windows is not. This causes problems when trying to file files.
Places where path is computed:
state abbreviation
a. E:\data{state abbrviation} is generally lower case but I have seen upper
archydro and bc_layers need to be lower case
archydro\global.gdb needs to be lower
hucids
a. generally numbers but have letters inCA
b. image
c. would be nice is they were all lower case
raster names in XML vs in the data - it would be good if they were the same - fix the XMLs?
